Hotel Description
Murphey's Motel is a family owned and operated motel that is situated right on Highway 395. We are open year round and are a AAA Approved Property. Our goal is to provide family-friendly service while you enjoy a relaxing stay. We welcome all types of travelers and would love to assist you in finding the room that will best suit your needs!
Facilities
Murphey's Motel LLC is a 2 story property. We only have stairs and NO elevators. We offer discounts to AAA members and AARP members/Senior Citizens. A Senior citizen is considered 60 years of age or older. No pets are allowed. Only trained service dogs are welcome.
Lee Vining is a Seasonal Town
Always check road conditions before traveling or making reservations. Every year in the late fall/winter, many roads do close in the area. Tioga Pass (SR-120), the road into the Eastern Entrance of Yosemite National Park does close every year during this time. Sonora Pass (SR-108) and Monitor Pass (SR - 89) usually close as well. Roads typically do NOT reopen until May-June. Please research the area before making plans during this time of year!
Yosemite Requiring Reservations
Yosemite National Park will require reservations on some days this summer. Make sure to get your reservation and plan ahead!
